Port Arms

Transitioning From Military Patrol Ready Carry To Port Arms

With the weapon resting in a cross body orientation, place the non firing hand under the fore end, place the firing hand on the top of the buttstock and press down while pulling up on the fore end. Once in port arms configuration, sling friction will hold the weapon in place. This position, however, will withstand only moderate movement. Rapid, dynamic movement will cause the weapon to drop back into military patrol ready mode. (Not necessarily a bad thing if you think about it)
